The Mount Church Clothing & Food Ministry

“All the believers were one in heart and mind. No one claimed their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had. With great power the apostles continued to testify to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And God’s grace was so powerfully at work in them all that there were no needy persons among them…” Acts 4:32-34

About the Ministry:

At The Mount Church in Clemson, South Carolina, our monthly food and clothing drive is a simple expression of love in action. On the day of each event, members of the community are invited to come and “shop” freely for clothing and receive food at no cost. The ministry’s goal is to bring the resources of the community together, sharing and helping each other. This service exists to meet needs while fostering compassion and a sense of belonging for all who walk through our doors, just as the Scripture teaches.

How it works

Visitors are allowed to fill 2 grocery bags of clothing per family member at no charge.
Grocery bags are available to those in need during clothing store hours.
Bag contents vary but typically contain non-perishable items
such as peanut butter, canned protein, vegetables and fruit. Personal hygiene items are available as well upon request.

Clothing & Food

We provide previously worn, donated clothing items free of charge to those in need. We provide non-perishable food items for those dealing with food insecurity. Everything is free of charge. We care about you and want to make sure you are taken care of.

Emergency Clothing & Food

If you are in immediate need due to an emergency, the Church Ministry may be able to help. Clothes can be provided between store operation dates. Please fill out the form below to provide contact information and clothing needs, i.e. gender, sizes, and items needed. Our “Personal Shoppers” will contact you and arrange to meet your requests.
